What is a Professional organiser?
According to the National Association of  Professional Organisers in America, a Professional Organiser provides information, products, and assistance to help others organise.  A professional orgnaiser should guide, encourage, and educate clients about basic principles of organising by offering support, focus, and direction.

How do I know if I need a Professional Organiser?
If you are feeling overwhelmed by the “stuff “in your space or if the weeks keep slipping away and you still can’t find the time to do the sorting you want, perhaps a Professional Organiser can assist.

Why hire a professional organiser, can’t I do this on my own?
A professional organiser helps you to make the commitment to get organised, assesses the challenges and finds the most effective way of handling the problem – all while keeping an eye on the big picture and keeping you motivated to finish the task.

How much will it cost?
The cost will depend on the size and the length of the project. The help you require may not be as much as you think. Let us evaluate the situation in order to get an estimated time frame and cost.

Will I have to get rid of alot of my things?
We will make recommendations and provide referrals for services that will augment your home and your life.  If you really don’t want to loose the excess, we can assist in managing what you would like to keep.  Our goal is is to make choices about what to keep and then what to do with with it.

Will I have to purchase new products?
We want you to make the best use of what you have and purchase only what might be neccessary for your space.  We are aware that in this financial climate most of us have budgets.

If neccessary, who does the shopping?
That really depends on what you prefer.  We can go together, we can help you with a suggested list of items or we can do the shopping for you.

What will you think of me when you see the mess?
We love to see your mess!  We don’t judge – we all live in a society that is busy, stressful and hectic.  That’s why we’re here to help.  It’s exciting for us to help transform your space and your life!

How will I get my children to to be organised?
We can tailor make a service to teach your children the basics while getting them organised.  We will teach them invaluable lessons that they will take with them for years.

What about confidentiality?
Everything we discuss or come across during a session is 100% confidential.  Mess Goddess offers a confidentliality agreement for your ease of mind.

What forms of payment are acceptable?
Payment can be made via bank transfer or in cash at the end of the session. Payment is due at the end of each session. Please see our terms and conditions for more information.

Do I have to be present during a session?
While most clients like to present for each session, it isn’t always necessary.  We will discuss your options during the personalised assessment.  We will then set up an appropriate schedule based on your needs.
